Life Science organisation dealing with Biologix and Reax technology
Q-Chip approached us some 5 years a go. Their requirement then was for a basic wireless solution with a entry level server. At this stage Q-Chip employed only 3 people.
This was implemented successfully and Aytel managed the backups, with support and maintenance services for the IT equipment.
Q-Chip now employs over 18 people, have a Dell PowerEdge 2600 with Microsoft Small Business Server, Kaspersky Enterprise Edition AV, Symantec Backup exec and remote support.
We have also implemented a VoIP Asterisk server and dual broadband providers for internet resiliency

Project to provide broadband and flexible infrastructure services to CBTC tenants
Aytel
was instrumental in winning this infrastructure project to manage the installation of a fast BT broadband service, procurement of HP Procurve switches and configuration of VLAN's for services provided to various tenants.
As the solution provided by Aytel was extremely valuable for their tenants, Cardiff Council requested deployment of this technology and infrastructure to two more sites, these additional sites are currently being configured for provision of these services.

For over 2.5 years we have been supporting GSS with remote backups, server support, support of 3rd party freight management software, remote working support, terminal services and PC support.
Aytel also supplied, configured and installed the Dell PowerEdge 1800 server with 15 user cals, Windows 2003 Server with Terminal services and VPN for multisite access.

Network performance analysis and support
This client needed to improve the performance on their network, so we carried out an analysis of the network switches, wireless, cables and server. We documented our findings and recommended a number of phased upgrades to improve the throughput. As a result of several changes this client now has greater stability in their network and improved performance from their render farm.
We are now recommending further improvements for their email management, calendar sharing, FTP requirements and backup solutions.
